The Inn’s Future
The Historic Sheridan Inn has been named an Official Project of Save America’s
Treasures, a public-private partnership between the White House Millennium
council and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, dedicated to the
preservation of our nations irreplaceable historic and cultural treasures for
future generations.
The Millennium committee to Save America’s Treasures is led by Honorary Chair
Hillary Rodham Clinton and co-chaired by Susan Eisenhower, granddaughter of
former Dwight. D. Eisenhower, and Richard Moe, President of the National Trust
for Historic Preservation.
Today, the Sheridan Heritage Board of Directors continues to hold many events
to celebrate in Inn and its history. Each February they hold a Birthday party
to commemorate Buffalo bill’s Birthday, which is February 26th.
Buffalo Bill
Days will continue and each summer we plan an event to celebrate the Inn’s
Grand Opening in June. In July the board sponsors a barbeque on the lawn in
connection with the Sheridan Wyo Rodeo... Please check the
Sheridan Travel and
Tourism site for up-to-date information....
