Enter into the Lobby. This shows the original registration
desk. Also in the Lobby is the original cigar case that was once in the bar and a copy of
the original registration. Book with Buffalo Bill Codys signature. One of the three
original fireplaces is also in the Lobby along with many pictures of Buffalo Bill Cody.
From here you go to the second and third floor using the original staircase. |

This is the dinning room at the Inn. Another of the
original fireplaces graces this room giving it a great atmosphere to enjoy your dinner or
event. Notice the large span of Georgian pine, hand hewn, that is of interest. Many dances
were held at the Inn with Buffalo Bill as the host and participant. |
 |
The Buffalo Bill Bar was built in England of oak and
mahogany. This is also an original to the Inn. This bar area had a card room as well as
the bar area for the men. Few women entered the bar in the early days of the Inn.
Many a horse has entered the bar after races to Arvada and back. The winner bought
drinks for all. |

Hall in the Apartment constructed in the late 1960s.
The staircase goes to the third floor bedrooms of the apartment. |
 |
This area is over the bar. In the late 1960s and early
1970s the plaster was removed leaving the construction of the Inn exposed. This is
on the south side of the hall. The diagonal bracing is a part of the structural system
that supports the second floor from the roof trusses.

This area is over the bar on the opposite side of the hall
of the previous picture. Original doors and frames are still in place. |
 |
This is all that is left of the original employee stairs. At
the top of the stairs was the mop room. Many employees stayed at the Inn on the
third floor above the bar area. |

Miss Kates room. This is the room that Miss Kate
enjoyed the most at the Inn. She did most of her sewing here and enjoyed the late after
noon sun coming into the window. It has been renovated by the Preceptor Tau Chapter
of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. The picture on the back wall is of Miss Kate. Her rocking chair and
hatbox are also displayed in the room.

Third floor hall for the apartment bedroom area constructed
in 1960s. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms constructed here. Natural light
enters the room from the buildings dormers. |

An example of the dormers on the Inn from the inside. This
dormer is the apartment hall on the third floor. The original wood sash and transom
remain. |

This is an example of the rooms on the third floor over the
bar area. They are all original, being very small, 6ft. x10 ft. The contained
a double bed, a wash stand, a clothes rack. This is taken from one room looking into the
other. |
 |
The hall over the bar area gives us a fine example of the
electrical wiring that was installed in the Inn in 1893. The Inn had the first electric
lights in Sheridan. |
